This is a simple guide video for the full Batik DIY painting at home kit from Jadi Batek. We show you the steps to paint batik on a pre-waxed cloth and fix the dye with sodium silicate.

DIY Batik with Cold Wax and Quick Dyes

Cold wax pen is a simpler alternative to traditional Batik Canting and hot wax.

The cold wax is in liquid form and you can apply directly on the fabric and use the wax as resist medium in the batik painting.

Batik quick dye is great for Batik Craft, Tie & Dye and Dip Dye on untreated fabrics.

Can be applied on cotton, silk, wool, linen, rayon and other natural fabric. Coloring fixing is not necessary.

This is the process to draw batik with cold wax and quick dye. You don't need to melt the wax with heat or fix the dye. After coloring, leave it to dry and wash away the wax with warm water, your batik masterpiece is done.
